This Structured Maths Approach two year overview document was designed to support school maths implementation across numeracy and the maths strands. It works off a two year rolling odd and even overview so that strands have coverage and time to be explored in class. This is of course a suggestion as Structured Maths Approach chunks and lessons allow for teachers to bring in strand concepts into lessons and create cross strand learning experiences.

Structured Maths Approach resources will be available to support the term strand implementation and plan on this overview.
This works of a four term split between number and strands ensuring all sub-strands are covered in a two year timeframe. This also shows suggested assessment or testing timeframes that might like to be included in your school maths planning.

This is a suggestion maths overview for your school and may be used as a guide. Of course you are able to use and follow your own and alongside the curriculum to give you enough robust coverage that you can cover in a year.
